Instructions for inslallation of Thafseer Software:


1) Run the Setup.exe and complete the installation
2) Copy the database 'Tanzil.mdb' and paste to the installation folder 
 Eg: C:\Program files\Thafseer or  C:\Program Files (x86)\Thafseer
 Done!!!!

Errors reported during installation

Problam No.1)  After Installing the software, while Choosing any page and not able to veiw the pages or getting an error message "The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot find the input table or query.............",  then

a) Go to installation folder   (eg: C:\Program files\Thafseer or  C:\Program Files (x86)\Thafseer) b) Right click on 'Thafseer.exe' then go to Properties.
c) Click on 'Compatibility' menu and check the checkbox 'Run this program as an administrator'.


Problam No.2)  After downloding, if the following error occures while exracting the setup file,
 which means...
  • Even after appearing the message "your downloading completed successfully", your  file is not completely downloaded. 
  • Your file is downloaded partially due to slow internet connection
  • A Fully downloaded file size will contain   1.15GB.  Please check the file size after downloading. 


Problam No.3)  In this Software if you see the symbol  '??????' in the colomn of Sura (See the picture below) which means your system does't have proper Arabic language setting. you can overcome this problam by doing the following steps




  • Go to the Control Panel
  • Select the Region and Languages
  • Click on the Administrative Menu
  • Click on Change system locale
  • Change the Current system  locale  to "Arabic(Saudi Arabia)"
  • Restart your PC
